jewellery designer
the artist

Paula's path in jewellery was catalysed during the years spent in Namibia where she worked and lived with rural community craft makers. Drawn more and more by the creative environment and the life long love of Jewellery and stones, she moved to Israel to study goldsmithing. The House of Hector was officially launched in 2004 in Kalk Bay, Western Cape, and where she still works from her studio.

The jewellery is clearly influenced by her love of Africa, African culture, spirit and nature, but also her pieces reflect the esoteric qualities of the stones with which she works. Nothing is too out rageous nor off the wall.

The House of Hector jewellery, is quite simply all about having fun and feeling great. Paulawants the wearer to feel more confident, feel prouder and to appreciate their true self worth, to make people love more, laugh more and to just have a jolly lot more fun!!!
